Spirited Children! Read More About'em

Hands on Healing - All children have the ability to direct energy with their hands to facilitate healing and relief of pain!

In the Spirited Children programs, we teach children about their built in ability to connect with the energies of the universe. These energies come from plants, trees, rocks, the stars, the sun, animals, the divine, and each other. Through practicing feeling these energies and gaining an understanding our children can learn to direct the energy with their intentions and their hands.

Hard to believe it works? Last year we took a day trip on a rainy day to the museum of science. They had a butterfly room at that we visited. The entomologist pointed out that one of the newly hatched Lunar moths was having seizures and appeared that it wasn't going to survive. We gather the kids and had them hold their hands up and send loving , healing warm light to the moth for about a minute. We left the room and two minutes later the Entomologist came running over pointing at the Lunar moth exclaiming, "It's fine now!"

Sprited Children are Crafty

Many kinds of craft like actvities take place in our monthly and summer programs. Through drawing, sculpting, beading, painting and weaving the children create and design a multitude of art objects from their imaginations. Often we suggest a theme from nature and/or use items found on our nature walks, but we emphasize and embrace thier creativity. In addition, we have a resident staff artist and Anime expert that teaches drawing techniques and will create a souvenir on request.

Rock art with meaning!

Pool Time

Children learn to play and swim during the hot days of summer. We have a certified Life Guard on duty during pool activities along with other adult supervision. We will work with the children to help them improve their abilities in and around the water. If you have a special request about your child, no deep end or swimmies required, just let us know.

Make Way for Geeselings

Our programs encourage children with hands on interaction with the animals. They hold, heal, feed, play, talk and listen to a variety of domsetic and wild animals. We make time to observe animal behaviors and give the children opportunity to give their interpretation of why the animals do what they do. We also interact with the plants and the trees. Planting bulbs and seeds, working in the garden and huggin trees. Connection to the nature around us is important!
