Brothers in Arms
All our programs at Spirited Children encourage a family style environment. The older children are encouraged to take on a big borther/big sister role in all that we do. Be it playing games, working on crafts or swimming in the pool, a helping hand is always there and the friendship often extends beyond our programs.

Summer Day Programs
Rooted in indigenous ways, all participants earn an Indian name, connect with their power animal, identify a tribal name for their group, compose a tribal chant and invent their own rituals and practices. They play popular team building games, swim, do arts and crafts and play, play, play!!!
Our philosophy is to provide lots of fun and enlightening choices for the children with a general structure that allows for honoring the children's energy of the day. For example, if it's a really hot day and the group wants to stay in the pool most of the day, then they can use most of the free time to do that. Each day always includes group gathering, snacks, lunch, meditation in the tipi, community games and group closing. Groups are limited to 20 children.

Community
All our programs at Spirited Children emphasize community. Every day during our summer programs we gather several times a day to participate in communal activities. Each morning we close our circle by greeting the directions, honoring the elements and spirits of the land just as the indigenous cultures have for thousands of years.
Human Design
Human Design is a relatively new system, a kind of synthesis of ancient wisdom and modern science, that combines elements of Eastern and Western Astrology, the Chinese I'Ching, the Kabalah (Tree of Life), the Hindu Chakra system and modern quantum physics.
The childrens personal Human Design "body-graph", the arrangement of the information from those systems into a simple chart, will be given a very basic level interpretation by Peter and Nina. By utilizing aspects of the Human Design you can enhance your childs living/growing environment.
